I'm a Big Girl Now!

Hadley turned 4 months old today and we tried out her jumperoo for the first time. She is getting so strong and doing great!

She also started to bring her knees up closer to her chest...she will soon discover those toes!

Baby's First Christmas

Hadley spent her first Christmas visiting family in Omaha, Nebraska. It was coooold but at least we had a beautiful white christmas!
She did very well on the plane but was so tired of sitting in her infant seat. As soon as nana took her out she strrrrrrretched...We had a great time staying with Uncle Brent and Aunt Alissa. She also got to visit Aunt Colleen, Aunt Mandy, Uncle Scott and her cousins Toni and Jamie.

She was surrounded by new toys and books on Christmas morning...

But it was exhausting and she fell asleep before they were finished being opened so we took a break...

One of her favorite toys was a little stuffed dog. It is soft and light weight; perfect for little hands. She played with it a lot...And even snuggled with it when she snoozed...

Here she is "talking" to her cousin Toni. She really enjoyed meeting her!

It was so fun to see everyone but the time always goes too fast when visiting family. We miss you all!

Tammy's friend Bethany (also a photographer) took some great pictures of Hadley when we went to Albuquerque last week. She took so many beautiful ones it is impossible for me to say which is my favorite. I like this one because Hadley loves her "plug"...

On Sunday we had a birthday celebration for Hadley's Uncle Scott...
Scott's girlfriend Alex was also there for the celebration...
Todd and Nicola even brought Hadley's friend Evan...
We knew the party was getting out of hand when Hadley ended up decorated like a birthday present...
And the dog passed out...

Visit to the Staley House

Maureen and Hadley went to visit Hadley's Aunt Tammy, Uncle Kevin and cousins. Maureen's Aunt Linda was also there to visit! Not only did Hadley have some beautiful 3 month and Christmas pictures taken by her Aunt Tammy, she had so much fun with her cousins who showed her lots of love.

This is her cousin Jack who loved to hold her as much as he possibly could.

Even the little ones showed Hadley the love! This is Deuce laying one on her...

He is so sweet and was even concerned for Hadley when she wasn't so happy...

Little Inara was not afraid to get close to her...

They didn't mind at all that Mama was holding a new baby...

Hadley even got to snuggle with Aunt Linda...

Hadley's Best Four-Legged Friend

Callie has had quite an adjustment going from the "baby" to just the "dog" since Hadley came along! Hadley is really starting to notice her now and they get along great!

Hadley's Best Two-Legged Friend

Hadley and her friend Evan took a trip to the mall last week to visit Santa. They were both in great moods and so cute!

When they got home from their trip to the mall, they played together....

Happy Saint Nicholas Day!

Did you know that if you leave your shoe out by your door each December 5th, then on the morning of December 6th it will be filled with goodies? Jeff and Hadley left theirs and St. Nicolas came during the night and left books, magazines and See's chocolates. I guess he didn't realize that Hadley is too young for chocolate so mommy will have to take care of that for her! I love this picture because it is funny to see the size difference between Hadley's and her daddy's shoes!

Baby's First Thanksgiving

Hadley's first Thanksgiving was at Rose's house. We had a great time seeing her and her family. Hadley was pretty entertained watching all of Rose's grandchildren running around. Dinner was delicious. Thank you Rose!

Through a Baby's Eyes

Today I took Hadley out in the baby bjorn carrier and she was entertained for more than an hour...in our front yard! She looked left and right, left and right, left and right and was amazed at everything around her.So I started to pay more attention to what was so amazing and she was right! I took these pictures of the beautiful day...

So much excitement was a lot to handle....I think Hadley is on to something!
